§ 3-717. Police authority.

(1)

Authority granted in this article, shall exist and be exercised concurrently with the general police authority vested in the sheriff. Said concurrent authority shall include enforcement of all sections of this chapter and the issuance of citations for violations.

(2)

Nothing contained in this chapter shall supersede or repeal any ordinance to suppress any nuisance whatsoever.
