§ 4-110. Home solicitations without permission; nuisance.

  • The practice of going in and upon private residences in the town by solicitors, peddlers, hawkers, itinerant merchants or transient vendors or merchandise, not having been requested or invited on the premises by the owner or occupant of the private residence, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares or merchandise or disposing of, peddling or hawking the same, is declared to be a nuisance.
